Sizzlin Summer Nights Vendor Info2010 looks to be another great year for events. With the economy as it is, more people are staying closer to home, traveling to destinations that are regional verses across the country and looking for experiences not just scenic landscapes. Sizzlin Summer Nights Car & Bike Show is just that; a regional destination that provides a great experience. 2009 was a great year with approx 12,000 people attending the 2-day event. We look for that number to remain the same with potential of a 10% growth.
This year proves to be a milestone year for a couple Aberdeen community events and we are partnering with them to make it extra special for all involved.
• The Dakota Open Golf Tournament will be taking place at Moccasin Creek Country Club. This event draws in well known players and community alumni. To cross promote both great events, we will be having a special show area for “tricked out” golf carts.
• BMX Race Track is celebrating their 25th Anniversary by hosting a bicycle stunt show to take place Downtown on Saturday and Sunday.

1. The location of the event may need to change off Main Street due to a streetscape project for 2010. This will be determined closer to the event.
2. The event will be confined between 6th Ave and RR Ave-thereby using Streets and Avenues.
3. All Sizzlin Summer Night activities held during the two days will take place Downtown Aberdeen.
