We are pleased to announce our co-host partnership with Pauer Sound LLC to put on this
year’s Sizzlin’ Summer Nights Car Show! The car show will take place on Main Street in
Downtown Aberdeen on Saturday, August 24th, 2024 from 4:00pm – 8:00pm.
Our co-host partnership with Pauer Sound LLC will mean that the Aberdeen Downtown
Association will continue to handle all marketing and advertising for this car show, but our
friends at Pauer Sound LLC will be in charge of all event logistics prior to and during the day
of this event! We are excited to work together to make this event better for all who attend.
One of the major logistical changes of this event will be that the car show registration
is FREE, but there will be NO reserved parking spaces. From 2:30PM to 4:00PM, cars will
have one entry point on the intersection of 4th Avenue and Main. Cars will be parked in the
order they arrive starting on the end of Main and 6th Avenue, and will be filled in down to
Railroad Avenue and into the Avenues. If you have a car group that wants to be together,
you will need to arrive and be in line together. If you are an owner with multiple cars but will
need to make more than one trip to park your cars, please reach out to Alex at Pauer Sound
LLC and he can discuss options. If you have any other questions about this, please email

– Kid’s Strider Cup Bike Obstacle Course: 12:00PM to 2:00pm
– All parking Spots Check-In: 2:30pm to 4:00PM sharp
– Bikes parking in Main Street Center: 4:00PM or later
– Parade Route to Exit Car Show: 8:00PM
PARKING: Parking is FREE and first come first serve and will be open from 2:30pm-4:00PM
sharp. Entrance to Main Street will be on 4th Ave only. Pauer Sound LLC and other
volunteer helpers will guide you at 4th Avenue. For the safety of those attending the show,
parking will not be allowed after 4:00PM sharp.
BIKES: Motorcycles are encouraged to park in the center of Main Street in the same format
as past years. Bike parking opens after all cars have been parked (4:00PM or later). If you
would like to join the car show’s large bike group and arrive with them all at once, please
meet them at Melgaard Park at 4:30PM to arrive at 5:00PM. We recommend joining the
group, as it is a fun (and loud) spectacle to see everyone pulling into the show together!
EXIT: There will be an organized exit at 8:00PM directed by Pauer Sound LLC and their
volunteer team. Directions to exit will begin at 8:00PM, so please be with your car and ready
to go at that time.
SHOWMANSHIP RULES: No For-Sale signs will be permitted. Please send Pauer Sound LLC

2024 SSN T-SHIRTS: Custom-pressed Sizzlin’ Summer Nights t-shirts will be available for
purchase on the day of the event at the Swag Shoppe booth.
CONDUCT REMINDER: This event is hosted by a non-profit organization and staffed with
unpaid volunteers, many of whom are young people and NSU college students helping out
to make our community better. Please be patient and kind with them and remember that
verbal or physical aggression towards volunteers, staff, or other car show attendees will not
be tolerated. Misconduct may result in removal from the current or any future car show(s).
Remember the Golden Rule and please choose kindness. It’s a beautiful Sizzlin’ summer day,
so let’s sit back, admire some cool cars, and have fun in Aberdeen Downtown!
