Head downtown with family and friends on December 14th to admire floats decked out in holiday lighting and cheer making their way down Main Street from 5:30pm to 6:30pm.

Through our Illuminate Downtown Aberdeen campaign in 2023, the Aberdeen Downtown Association received donations to fund a professional holiday lighting installation to make downtown Aberdeen downtown even more of a destination during the holidays. Thanks to our giving donors, including the Aberdeen Area Community Foundation and Knight Foundation, we now wrap lamp posts, trees, and even install kid-friendly winter characters to make the drive down Main Street joyous and fun. Even though we will still be doing much of the work ourselves, the cost of the professional installation and lights fell $20,000.

Imagine strolling down a beautifully illuminated Main Street while shopping for presents and stocking stuffers, sipping on toasty warm coffee or cocoa, and meeting friends and family for a festive December day downtown. Every dollar you can contribute helps us bring in new light features downtown. Together, we can make Main Street a beacon of holiday magic for our community and beyond.
